So very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this dishwasher for about a month. It is so very quiet that I have to really listen to see if it is running. Cleans beautifully even on the 58 minute cycle.

Run Silent

We have always bought Whirlpool products because we have found them to be very dependable, and equiped with excellent features. What we really like about our Whirlpool Gold dishwasher is how quiet this applicance runs. Prior to this we would always wait until we went to bed to run the dishwasher, because it would drown out the television. No need to do that now.

Easy to use and quiet.

I bought the product 3 weeks ago and had it delivered the next day. They installed it and I was using it immediately. The only problem was that the stainless steel front was dirty. It tends to pick up finger prints and water stains.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace an older Whirlpool dishwasher. What sold me was the features the other brands don't have. Such as flat ware rack in the door so it doesn't take up rack space, heated dry so the dishes come out dry, easy load soap dispenser and jet dry dispenser, very nice stainless steel interior, and it is very quite. Another important selling point is that it was the same height as the old one. No modifications were necessary to our granite countertop. Very happy with this purchase.

Awesome dishwasher

This is my second Whirlpool dishwasher, I bought this because my last one was over 20th years old and it still was working. I remodelled my kitchen so I decided to buy another one. This one is so much bigger and quieter, My favorite feature is the silverware basket. I love that it is on the door,it allows for more room for the dishes.

I have buyers remorse. Part of this is due to my negligence for not asking more questions during the buying process... the rest is due to Whirlpool's design.The appliance store I purchased this from did an excellent job representing the dishwasher and answering all of my questions. I considered models from Maytag and Bosch before settling on the Whirlpool. In addition to being less expensive than the two other brands, the deciding factors in favor of the Whirlpool were power jets during the wash cycle and a positive review from consumer reports. Water efficiency and quieter cycles were other positive features. My complaints...1.) The silverware bin is in the door and frequently items do not come clean. 2.) Even though the exterior dimensions of the dishwasher are identical to our old dishwasher and appear to be industry standard dimensions, the interior is much smaller than our old model. Thus, the dishwasher needs to be run more frequently. 3.) A normal wash cycle with a heated dry and high temperature scrub takes 2 hours and 50 minutes. Without the high temperature scrub, the cycle is longer. Using the power jets requires a cycle that is WELL OVER 3 hours of wash time. 4.) The water efficiency of the machine was stressed during the sales process. Yet, the ridiculously long wash cycles use FAR MORE electricity than our old dishwasher. Additionally, who has time to wait for a 2+ hour wash cycle. The machine does have an 1 hour wash, but the dishes aren't cleaned adequately in this cycle. 5.) Despite using a recommended rinse agent, the heated dry does not dry the dishes.I regret the purchase and stress that many of the complaints I have, would have only been realized by using the machine. A salesperson and typical consumer would not have thought to discuss these complaints during the purchase process. Thus, I am stuck with this machine for at least 10 years. I would NOT recommend this dishwasher to a friend, but would recommend asking more questions and doing more research before purchasing any new appliance.
