wonderfully quiet

my old dishwasher, 20 years old and still did a great job but sounded like a cement mixer and started to leak. Did a lot of looking and research and decided on a Whirlpool. It's been installed for about a month now and so far we are very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dishwasher in May 2017 and used it a couple of times. I dishwasher clean the dishes really good. The flatware, plates, bowls, cups and silver pots comes out dry and shining. The tupperware comes out dry and clean on the sensor cycle but on the one hour cycle it was wet and greasy, The dishwasher is extremely quite.Overall it is a very good dishwasher.
I would recommend this to a friend!

no rinse and hold cycle

I am single & don't have many dishes since I work every day. My old dishwasher had a rinse & hold cycle, so if I just had a coffee cup & a couple of glasses I was able to have the dishwasher rinse them & hold until I had enough dishes to run a wash cycle. The new dishwasher does not have that so I run an entire 1.5 hr normal wash & dry cycle more than usual. Other than that, I haven't used it much but it seems to be ok.

My dishes come out very clean with no spots or film. Average dish packing capacity. My only complaint is that the sprayer above the bottom rack hits some of my bigger plates and so I am not sure how well it spins during washing. My dishes do come out clean and so I don't know if this is affecting the function or not.

Soooo quiet!

My old dishwasher was 30 years old. I was delighted to find that Whirlpool had one in a "biscuit" color to match my other appliances. I did not expect that my new dishwasher would be so VERY QUIET! I wondered if it was even running. It was. I am getting used to loading it differently but it seems to hold as much as my old one and it is so pretty. I love the "steel" interior. Can't wait to see if it lasts as long as my old one.

Great cleaning and features to stop and resume dishwasher

I bought this about a month ago and am so happy that I did. I like the cleaning and the feature to stop and resume dishwasher. I also like it because it washes according to the number of items in dishwasher. I also like the stainless steel tub.

So glad that I bought this dishwasher! my prior dishwasher would leave spots and the dishes would be wet and would basically find myself re-washing them and drying them by hand. Not with my new whirlpool dishwasher though!! Every time I've use it doshes have been spotless, its very quiet and never have had any leftover spots to date. It also does a great job drying as well eve in those hard to reach tupperware creases.
