Some concerns

I like the dishwasher, especially the 1 hour option, but I have three complaints.1. The silverware comes out wet so I have to dry each piece.2. The silverware basket slots don't fit all of my silverware handles and removing the silverware is a one at a time endeavor.3. The rack contours limit the number of glasses and plates as compared to my previous dishwasher.

purchased 8-16-2015. less than I year old when I called with an odor problem. was instructed to take out the filter in bottom and clean it. did so. suctioned all water from out of the bottom also. was advised to clean this once in a while. have done so often. I use dishwasher cleaner every couple months but every time we open to add dirty dishes the odor will knock you down! I rinse off large food particles, run the washer 2 to 3 times a week but nothing helps. I have called 2 times about this without any better results. I feel I am not operating incorrectly either. I have read the instructions numerous times. Then on 1-12-2017 the dishwasher quit. called repairman wasn't getting any water in. he cleaned some water intake valve said might fix the problem but 1 week later he had to come back and replace the part. on his bill the description read "devot" maybe you know what this means. anyway $188.50 later it works now but the odor problem is the same. I am considering trashing the product and buying a new one NOT a whirlpool. I am so disappointed in this product. I have never had a dishwasher to compare to this. will never buy another one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dishwasher

The new features that this machine has compared to our old one is like night and day. We really like the delay feature. The old dishwasher could delay for 2,4 or 6 hours. This one can do anywhere from 1 to 24 hours. It's a lot quieter than the old one, and it appears to be getting the dishes a lot cleaner.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This us smaller than our previous maytag. You can not fit 2 diner plates next to one another. Very small silverware basket that hangs on door. It is very quiet but takes a very long time to to wash. Regular wash dry heat takes 3 hours. Would not but this again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Shiny, Clean Dishes

It really does the job. Recommends detergent pods and rinse aid and is a little complicated to stop and restart, but it really does the job. The dishes can go in with far less rinsing and end up clean and shiny. I love it.
