good features like stainless steel tub

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher about 3 weeks ago so I have not had a chance to try all of the features but the heat dry does not do the job like our other dishwasher did. ( GE )

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so quiet I can use it any time convenient to me. It holds a lot more dishes than my old one. The adjustable upper tray makes room for taller dishes on the bottom.

Nice Dishwasher

This dishwasher seems like a good buy so far. I always scrub all of the food particles off and then use the dishwasher to sanitize because that's what I'm used to with my old unit so I don't know how it does on residue removal. It is very quiet. Doesn't do the greatest job of drying the dishes but not too bad. Overall it seems like a great dishwasher.

My wife & I finally replaced our 12 year old Whirlpool dishwasher. I can't believe we now miss that thing. The first time we ran this one we left baked on chicken on a Pyrex dish and the ring of mashed potatoes around the top of a pot. After an almost FOUR hour wash, not only was all the chicken still in it's pan, but the little ring of mashed potatoes also didn't change. It takes me seconds to do it by hand with cold water and my finger tip.Aside from the poor performance, my glasses flipping over when I open and close the door, it leaves spots and the door is to dark. I like to separate my utensils so they don't spoon together during the wash, but it difficult to see what should go where.I am finding it hard to believe Whirlpool has stepped so far backwards in the twelve years since my last purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Quiet!

We bought this 4 months ago and we love it! Quieter than I ever thought it would be. Glasses aren't spotty, cleans well. I enjoy the removal utensil basket and fold down prongs. My only complaint is that even with heated dry, there is always moisture left inside on the front door, which could be because of the basket or because it is stainless inside?? Overall, great value!

this dishwasher does not get the dishes clean. Repairman implied many complaints: recommended put dishwasher pod in bottom of machine at start, lots of lemon boost, lots of rinse aid. Better, but still doesn't get dishes clean. I don't mean hard dirt or baked on, just simple rim on glass or cup. I rinse, wipe, each dish now, use 2 dishwasher pods, "heavy" setting, and never heated dry, as it bakes the food on. I am so disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an older version of the same dishwasher. So far so good but it's less than a month old. Personally, I like reviews where the products been used at least a year. As others have stated, it does take longer to do a normal wash cycle(3.5hours) but if it is more efficient and uses less water than who cares. It is also quitter than the older model.

I specifically bought this only to have it smear soap all over the bottom, and clean nothing. I am calling the plumber to see what the problem might be, because I've given it 3 tries with different detergents to no avail!
