So far so good...

We have been using this for a few weeks now and I am glad we bought this one. So far, we have yet to find a dirty dish after being run. It's nearly silent while running, which is nice. Only negatives I feel are 1) no grinder... you must clean the food strainer/filter every so often instead of it grinding and disposing of food pieces. 2) If you open the top rack to put in a glass and don't fully push the rack back in, when closing the door, the rack will catch on the rinse aid dispenser cover and pull it open. With 3 kids loading items all day long and them not pushing the top rack all the way in before closing the door, I often find the rinse aid dispenser cover popped open when I load items.2 small annoyances, but overall a FANTASTIC dishwasher. I would definitely buy it again!

The new dishwasher cleans very well and is very quite. The racks are set up so it is easy to load. Some of the others we looked at had rack arrangements that looked like it would be difficult to arrange the dishes in.

We have no regrets about this purchase. Our only issue is the smaller than we're used to silverware container. We swapped it out for our old dishwasher's silverware container and that works better for us. The silverware on the door didn't seem to dry and we thought it was a dangerous place for knives since we have little children here regularly. It could also go in the back of the bottom shelf if we wanted to use it.

Clean but not dry

We've been using the washer now for 3 months and it never completely dries there is always condensation on the door and I have noticed rust around the rungs for the cutlery holder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extremely quiet/nice features

This dishwasher replaced another Whirlpool that will be 19 years old in November. We had no problems at all with it and it still works. Mainly bought a new one for water conservation and quietness

whirlpool Gold diswasher review

We are generally happy with the appliance, but the length of the wash cycles takes some getting use to. The one feature I do not like is the silverware caddy on the door because the silverware never dry completely & have to be hand dried after such a long cycle with the drying feature chosen. We bought the machine on the advice of a local repair man because he told us the repair record was very good. I hope he is correct.??
