Basic function is good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the dishwasher about two weeks and it cleans the dishes just fine. The upper tray adjustment will not hold its position and falls down on the left side of the dishwasher. This places the upper tray in the position that if you do not slide the upper tray clear in before you close the door the soap dispenser catches on the tray and opens the rinseaid door causing the rinseaid liquid to spill. The slots on the silverware tray are too narrow so that it limits the amount of silverware that can be placed in the dishwasher. Other than that the unit is quiet and relatively easy to operate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my new dishwasher

I had a dishwasher at our old house but moved to a house which didn't have one. During the recent upgrade of the entire kitchen, we decided to include a new dishwasher. We shopped around and decided on the Whirlpool; both for looks and price. The appliance runs so quiet and the dishes are always clean.I never knew how much I missed it until I started using it. It's very easy to use. I am completely satisfied with this appliance.

Cleans as good as it looks

We bought this dishwasher a little over a month ago and it does a great job of cleaning the dishes for us, and it is much quieter than our last dishwasher was. We can hardly tell it is running unless standing right in front of it. The only problems we have experienced are that when the silver ware tray is hung on the door there is not enough clearance over the tray on the door, for the lower rack to slide/roll in and out, and the rack tends to catch on silverware if the silverware is not put in the silverware basket just right. The other problem is that the track or groove molded in to the side walls in which the lower racks wheels/rollers ride in and out on, is not deep enough, and the lower rack does not roll in and out as smoothly as our last Whirlpool dishwashers lower rack did. It seems to have to be rolled in and out more carefully or it binds, catches, or derails. We are learning to be aware of this proclivity, and how to roll the lower tray in and out more carefully, in order to avoid that happening.

I've had this Dryer for over a month. It has great features. Does a fine job drying everything from light clothing to heavy bath towels, bath mats & bedding.
