Had same model four years ago put about $ 200.00 in parts, about time for new one. This time I bought extended warrantee well worth $100.00 for four years.

We've been using the new dishwasher for a couple of weeks and find it to be attractive, quiet, and it does a good job cleaning the dishes. Good purchase.

Good, but...

I am happy with the way it cleans my dishes and silverware. It leaves a film on my plastic ware so that gets washed by hand. And I never put in pots or pans! The cons are two: the lower dish rack is difficult to load the dishes. My square dishes must be an unusual size because they don't want to fit the rack. They slip and slide around whenever the rack is pushed closed. And the compartment for holding the jet dry falls open after every wash. We wish the lower rack spacers that hold the dishes was adjustable. All in all its better than the old Whirlpool it replaced. I would recommend this model with reservations.

Great Dishwasher

Very happy with this dishwasher so far. Had a lot of excess water at first, but added rinsing agent (as recommended...), and it is WAY better. It is SO quiet compared to the machine I replaced. Love that. Wash cycle is pretty long, but saves water, and it's so quiet that I don't mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a 3 year old GE that was loud and needed another repair. I searched for quiet dishwasher and landed here at whirlpool. Low decibels, stainless interior and all the functionality that I needed. I love it
