slightly disappointed

I wanted a Whirlpool, shopped for and bought Whirlpool but I'm not entirely happy with my purchase. Top rack items are often unclean (gritty residue) even with a rinse aid. I am trying a different tablet (had been using Finish with the red ball). Knew I wasn't going to like the silver in the door feature. It's sitting in the front of the lower basket. Sometimes silver has dried on globs; not enough water in that direction - even with the special silver water spray. Also, the tines on the top rack don't fit my things (glasses don't stand up, small plastic bowls are difficult to place). I want to like my new dishwasher but I'm not sure I do. I feel stuck with an expensive purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For our kitchen remodel, we bought this dishwasher after researching similar models and chose this one because of the option to put the utensil holder on the door, giving more room inside the dishwasher. We also like the option to raise and lower the top rack and the price was right. It is very quiet and so far it has cleaned very well.

I bought my DW about 6 weeks ago. It is the QUITEST dishwasher I've ever had! It also does a great job of cleaning - I just use the 1 hour cycle. I really like the stainless steel interior - I really believe it does help hold the heat and dry the dishes a LOT faster!

I have had this dishwasher for 2 months and it is the quietest wash...it never wakes the new baby. The features are wonderful...the dirty pans come out clean and it sanitizes the baby bottles etc. I am very happy with the purchase

Clean, DRY and quiet

We looked at several dishwashers and this one fit what we were looking for. The stainless steel really works well in our kitchen but the best part of the deal is that this dishwasher is the quietest dishwasher I've owned and everything comes out dry. In previous dishwashers we've owned the plastics would never be completely dry. To my surprise, this is no longer an issue!
