I bought this dishwasher a month ago and it has worked perfectly. I have had 3 large dinner parties and the filled it completely. The dishes came out clean with no spots or dishwasher residue. So far very happy with it. Other plus it is very quiet!

I started buying whirlpool products about 10 years ago. Our recent purchase was a dishwasher and I really like the fact that the inside is stainless.I just ordered a whirlpool washer and dryer. I did have a whirlpool stove which we love. When I go to my appliance dealer I only look at whirlpool because I feel you get a great product, decent price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Takes some getting used to!

I had my old whirlpool dishwasher for 16 years. Never had an issue. The new dishwasher does not meet up to par. I was told the dishwasher would take hours to run, and was told that would be the only difference. Now after hours of running over night, the dishes especially the silverware never dry. I have to manually dry them. In addition, the gel tabs don't always dissolve. I have tried both the regular tablets and gel tablets -- sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. In addition I have tried to use the sanitize setting in hopes of helping to dry, but again no luck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I loved my old Whirlpool dishwasher. It lasted a long time and did a good job on glasses and dishes. When the time came to replace, I went with another Whirlpool. This model does not clean well consistently. The cycles take FOREVER and my glasses are usually cloudy and sometimes the dishes are still dirty so I have to run another marathon cycle. I have tried everything to get this machine to work. I've tried different cleaners and rinse agents and methods of loading, adjusting the top rack position - nothing works on a consistent basis. The dishes on the top rack are almost always still dirty. The drying element does not work well either. The dishes are dripping wet even the next morning. I have written several e-mails to Whirlpool and they do not respond.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No prewash necessary

Have had this about two months just love it- we had a prefab home with appliances in it - The dishwasher previously there did not clean the coffee rings or milk stains without pre washing - this one does do not have to prewash love it

Happy I purchase new and not fix old dishwasher

I debated to fix my old Jen-air dishwasher, the style matched other appliances. I chose to buy a new Whirlpool dishwasher. Glad I did. The Whirlpool cleans much better and is quieter than the old one. The appearance of the Whirlpool turned out to be a good match anyway.
