Very good value

Bought this dishwasher 7 weeks ago. Very pleased so far. Dishwasher is very quiet.A word of advice-don't try to use a liquid gel detergent, use the individual detergent packs/tabs. The first 5-6 times we ran the dishwasher, we used Cascade gel and the dishes kept coming out dirty, with a white film on them. We had to wash everything by hand to get them clean. We were so disappointed, we were ready to return the dishwasher.Then we decided to try the detergent packs and Voila! Everything comes out real clean. Not sure if there was an issue with the brand of detergent gel, or liquid gel just is not compatible with this machine, but all is ok now. Occasionally, a few pieces of silverware need to be re-washed, but that's a minor issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ultra Quiet!

We had to replace our old DW as the pump went out. A big problem with the old unit was the sound. It was always loud. We decided on this model because of a couple of features: 1) very quiet rating, 2) stainless tub, and 3) multiple cycles.We are amazed at how quiet this unit is! I actually have to lower my ear to the unit to know it's on. WOW! We've not utilized some of the various cycles yet as we've only had it about three weeks and being out for the holidays but so far it is washing very well. My only issue seems to be that the dry cycle doesn't get hot enough to completely dry. Even though I rated 5 stars, in all honesty I give it 4.5. Aside from the drying issue this is so far an outstanding unit and we got it at a very reasonable price.

Very quiet Whirlpool dishwasher

This is the second whirlpool gold dishwasher we have owned (installed one in last house then moved). I told the people buying the house that the one thing I would have liked to take with us was the dishwasher.The second dishwasher had a few more features than our old one (more cycles, both golds series). I like the 1 hour wash time (it uses more than the other cycles) but it is fast and seems to clean well. SUPER quiet both models we had were both very quiet, probably the biggest reason, besides the stainless steel tub for sani-rinsing baby bottles.Only thing is that if you open the washer up right after the cycle is done the plastics a are a little wet but if you let the machine it sit (or run before bed) it seams to make a huge difference.Overall we are happy with the purchase and would recommend a whirlpooldishwasher to someone who is looking for a pretty good performer with out spending an arm and a leg.

We bought this almost two months ago, and it is very nice. We like the silverware rack in the door. It would be nice if it came with a small rack for the top to put smaller plastic pieces in. We are currently using the one from our older dishwasher, but it is pretty beat up and almost too tall. It would also be nice if there were more racks on the bottom that folded down to make it easier to put bigger dishes in it.
