I've always had Whirlpool but this is the best one yet - we have to check to make sure it's running because it is so very quiet. Also, I really like the utensils in the door feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace our loud dishwasher. Found all the features we needed. And it is quiet! Especially like the digital display that says it is done washing because it is so quiet. Drawbacks are the feature that holds the flatware and rinse aid dispenser. Our old flatware will not fit into the slots (silly flatware). But the dispenser compartment will not stay closed. 50/50 --> The stainless steel interior is a nice feature to keep the interior looking clean, but it also makes it too dark to see if any items fell through to the bottom of the dishwasher.

Very poor design

Purchased from big box store. I should have looked closer at design.1 Lower spray arm can not turn with standard size dinner plates in lower drawer.2 Heated dry does not work unit does not seem to vent. 3 because heated dry does not work silverware is never dry.4 silver in the door bad design for any manufacturer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Silence is golden

After having a very noisy and inefficient dishwasher, the Whirlpool dishwasher is golden. It is very quiet (I have to actually stand by it and listen to hear it run). And, it cleans the dishes, flatware and glasses. I am extremely pleased with our purchase. We moved here 8 months ago and I was so disappointed with the dishwasher in the house. Our other home had the same Whirlpool dishwasher as we purchased and I did not want to leave it behind. I am happy again. I have my Whirlpool.
