A Perfect Fit

When our 10 year old dishwasher malfunctioned, we went to the internet and looked at new models available at 5 major retailers in our area. Our choice was limited to models in bisque to match our other appliances. We settled on our Whirlpool model as the best match of color, features, reliability as per the advice of our service supplier, and Made in America. We then shopped on the basis of which retailer offered the least expensive and soonest installation. We have been delighted by our new Whirlpool. It cleans great, is quiet, and has the front display we wanted. The bisque color is a perfect match with our other appliances. More expensive models were available, but the model we chose is a perfect fit and a true best value.

Disappointed

The heat/dry leaves the dishes wet so I run the dishwasher and leave it open several hours to dry things off. I rinse my dishes but even a small amount of food or grease is on the dishes after a long cycle. We are now using the 1 hour cycle to save water and electricity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Features

I picked the Whirlpool over the other brands because it was very spacious, I liked the wash arms and the silverware drawer in the door. In addition, my appliance repairman says that whirlpool is the best with less maintenance.
