Excellence at a Good Price

Purchased this unit last month and am very pleased with it's performance other than it had a warranty issue which was promptly dealt with. Easy to install and operates better than any other dishwasher we've had.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broken in less than 18 months

Bought this dishwasher as an "upgrade" from our builder. It lasted less than 18 months, then started leaking all over our floor. Looks like there's either a bad water solenoid or fill sensor, since it just keeps filling even after you shut it off and open the door. On top of that, there's only a 1 year warranty, so we're out of warranty, and have to go find an appliance repair man or try and fix it myself. Not something I expected for a brand new appliance that's 14 months old. Absolutely won't be buying Whirlpool appliances again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the timer!

After my 15-year-old washing machine died, it was time to upgrade. I like the size for a family of five. I love the timer so I know How much longer the cycle has.

Intuitive interior design, classy outside looks

We liked our old Whirlpool dishwasher just fine, so when it finally came time to replace it, we chose a similar (but updated) model. We thought we were getting the same thing, but boy, were we wrong. This one is even better. The new one has a simple, classy stainless-steel front. The inside rack design, while similar, has been much improved. The silverware holder has a liftable lid with slots in it for individual pieces of silverware - we can use it that way, or we can lift individual sections of the slotted lid to reveal an open basket. The top rack that can be raised and lowered at the push of a button is genius - the machine can now accommodate tall stemware we used to have to wash by hand. The computerized controls offer many green options, including a slow, but energy-stingy overnight cycle - although there's still a one-hour wash cycle with heated drying, for those times when we're entertaining and have several loads to do in quick succession. We got well over 10 years out of our old machine, so we're looking to similar longevity with this one. A great product!

I don't get to use it much but I have a happy wife who does. Since the dishwasher was installed she tells me that pre-washing is not necessary and that glasses and dishware come out without a spot on them in contrast to our old machine. Overall a fine productHappy wife, happy home.

Great Features - It's Quiet and for the price it's truly ama

I bought my new Whirlpool dishwasher last month after looking at all the features of many of the top dishwashers on the market. I chose the Whirlpool because it is so easy to use, the racks are solid and hold so many more dishes than my last dishwasher, the inside is stainless steel so it always looks clean and shiny. The best feature of all is it's so quiet and the dishes come out sparkling. I am so happy with my new dishwasher. The silver rack also holds tons of silverware, pops out and makes it easy to put the silverware away. I would highly recommend this model
