Still have to pre-rinse...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this under strong recommendation that you do NOT have to wash dishes before hand. Not true. Not a heavy load, didn't come clean. Too 4.5 hrs for the cycle, it is quiet however. Food found in various places after load so multcher didn't work either. Hmmm...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We just bought a whirlpool dishwasher and range. I am so happy with them both. Finally, a dishwasher that really gets the dishes clean without a lot of pre-washing. This is the first time I used a convection oven and I use it every time I bake. The food doesn't burn on the bottom before it gets done in the middle and on top. Yes, the black top does get a lot of fingerprints but if they are wiped away soon it really isn't much of a problem and the black top is so beautiful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Newly Installed and Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher was purchased to replace a Whirlpool unit that developed a mysterious leak after twenty years of good service. It's too early to give the new unit a five star rating because reliability is an important feature that it has not had the time in service to demonstrate. If it does as well as the unit it is replacing it will easily earn the fifth star. The front of the unit nicely finished, the controls easy to understand and operate and the door closes firmly and seals tightly. It is quiet, cleans the dishes well and leaves them dry and one can ask for little more in a dishwasher.

Quiet but has some deficiences

I bought this dishwasher just over one month ago. It replaced an older Whirlpool model. I'm happy to report that it is a quieter machine but am disappointed with the quality. The top rack seems flimsy when adjusting it's height. The door which holds the drying agent also keeps popping open allowing for leakage of the solution.
