Awesome dish washer

I bought this in January to replace an old warn out one. The look of this dish washer is very clean and modern looking. The stainless is very nice. When running the dish washer is is very quiet. We could be watching tv or laying down for bed and start the washer and can't hear it at all. It cleans the dishes really good and the drying feature is really nice. As soon as it's done you can take the dishes out and not a spot of water is on them. I would recommend this dish washer to anyone looking to update an old one. It's super quiet, very nice and modern looks. You can't go wrong with this whirlpool dish washer.

Gets the Job Done

So far, it's been working out great. It's extremely quiet and cleans the dishes well. I had issues with the drying, but it turns out all I needed was the rinse aid (only $3 a bottle and lasts a long time). The few issues I have with it are:- Accumulates fingerprints quickly/easily- Flimsy handle area- 3.5 hour wash on normalThe last one is probably my biggest issue with the dishwasher. There is a quick wash, but even that is an hour cycle. I believe the reason for this is because it is so energy/water efficient. In most cases, a 3.5 hour wash isn't a big deal since most people will do their dishes after dinner, in which case you wouldn't need them until the next day.Overall, it's been a great dishwasher. Got a great deal on it as well. Here's to hoping it lasts a good while!

SO QUIET!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans great,very quiet,easy to install,not wild about the holes for silverware as some are too small for our set but when that happens we just flip the top down and load as usual.Overall very happy.

First time for a stainless steel tub!

I have been buying Whirlpool appliances for many, many years. My other dishwashers didn't have a steel tub, but we went all out and bought a better model because it will probably be our last one, since we are getting up in our years.

Disappointing

They really need to take a look at the silverware baskets. They are difficult to use, silverware rattles every time door is opened/closed, and is on the whole, very inconvenient !

I had a whirlpool dishwasher that had lasted about 3 years and then needed repair, it made sense to by another, and the repair man said whirlpool were the best..so i bought another whirlpool, now after about 3 years the motor has gone out and is leaking..thats 2 whirlpool dishwashers that have lasted about 3 years each,,i can see why they only have a one year guarantee. i would seem to me they should last over 3 years..I cannot see buying another whirlpool and having it last about 3 years....
