Whirlpool - Gold dishwasher with TargetClean Option

my new dish washer is very quiet and it works very well. I like how my dishes are so clean and shiny when they come out of the dishwasher. I also like the different settings on the dishwasher and how it is energy sufficient!! I chose the black model whirlpool dishwasher because it is so easy to keep clean!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Headline says it all! And the "soak" feature is awesome!! Run a cycle overnight and nasty dishes with dried food are totally clean!!

Some issues great some need change

I bought this dishwasher two months ago. It cleans dishes quietly and thoroughly. Not happy with the spacing in the lower rack most pans can not be put in angled sideways. Therefore we have to wash more often as laying them down takes 3x the space. Secondly the rinse agent door catches on the upper rack and gets pulled open. The Regular cycle of 3 hours plus is too long to have to wash dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the quietest dishwasher we have ever owned. We considered several brands and the Whirlpool had all the features we desired, including a low decibel rating, and was in our opinion the best value. After two months of use we have not disappointed.

I replaced my 19 year old Whirpool dishwasher (builder grade) with this one and have been rather disappointed. The dishwasher cannot remove the detergent from the dispenser on the door if the silverware rack is left on the door. I have dealt with this by putting the silverware rack in the bottom drawer instead, but this uses the space for four plates. The cycle lasts almost 3 and a half hours and heated dry is required. I tried to use the 1 hour option, but it left detergent and brown spots on everything so I had to rewash it on the long cycle. I always put clean dishes into the dishwasher because I only run it about 3 times per week so getting dirty dishes out after waiting over 3 hours is understandably disappointing. I would not buy this dishwasher again, but I am learning to survive with it by adjusting how I do things and trying different settings hoping to find one that works well. I don't think I will ever learn to like this dishwasher though.
