Odd spacing for racks

We remodeled our kitchen this summer and purchased new Whirlpool stainless steel appliances to replace our old white appliances. The build of the dishwasher seems solid, but the placement of the racks is in odd places. In the top rack it is hard to place coffee cups and glass cups without them hitting each other. The silverware is on the front door which makes the bottom rack shorter. This prevents the placement of two rows of larger plates.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does a good job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old Kenmore went out and decided to get an upgrade with this model.Pros:Love the stainless steel tub and it gets the dishes very clean.Very quit tooCons:They suggest you only use the dishwasher tabs (which can be a bit pricey)The standard cycle takes 3 hrs 13 mins to do a single cycle of dishes

Nice Machine for the $

Researched various models. This doesn't have all the bells and whistles that you won't use so why pay for them. Nice unit. Installs easily, is quiet, cleans the dishes well, and is simple to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cleans well

I am finding that this dishwasher cleans quite well and all the adjustable items works great. I just wish it had the 3rd shelf because I find that I have to be careful with cooking utensils I put in the door rack because if its too tall, it will not clean.

Cleans well but poor design

There are design flaws in this model that I don't like but I needed a black dishwasher and this was one of the few with a higher rating.The rinse aid holder often catches on a shelf or opens on it's own. It is hard to tell if the dishwasher is closed as you just push on it.The silverware tray is not easily remove-able but it does clean the dishes well and offers several options for cleaning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So quiet, all clean, all the time

I read that it was quiet and it really, really is. I was amazed at how quiet it was. I really like the controls on the front and the "clean" indicator.
