Whirlpool Gold Dishwasher with TargetClean option

I bought this dishwasher a little over a month ago and am happy with my purchase. It looks nice in my kitchen and is easy to operate. I usually use the normal cycle with heat dry, and my dishes always come out sparkling clean. It runs so quiet that you really do have to keep checking to see if it is running, as some of the other reviewers have stated. It takes some getting use to versus how the noisy older model dishwashers run.
I would recommend this to a friend!

NEW WHIRLPOOL DISHWASHER REPLACES 38 YEAR-OLD WHIRLPOOL!

I am replacing my Whirlpool dishwasher of nearly 40 years,- without one problem I might add,- with another fine whirlpool packed with features and so quiet I hardly know it is running. No more waiting until bedtime to run it! The easy to load silverware tray is located in the door, just like I like it, but could reside in the top rack. I like the ease of using soap packets. No more measuring or spilling, and the many cycles allow a wide choice of options. In addition, as an avid conservationist, I appreciate the water saving features. And finally, the price and quality of the machine with its stainless steel tub were top reasons for purchase.

Sounds better than it actually is

This dishwasher is quiet; however, that's the best thing I find about it. It does not clean well--either in the regular cycle, or on the shorter cycle (which supposedly uses more water). I find dishes that need to be recleaned in every cycle. I also do not find the design of the interior to be as practical as my old Maytag. Dishes do not fit in easily, and I do not like it that there are always one or more dishes that are not clean at the end of the cycle. Sorry I bought this Whirlpool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this right before Christmas and were quite shocked at how quiet this machine is. It's almost impossible to tell that it is running. It cleans the dishes wonderfully
