Very quiet, utensils stay wet, food tastes on dishes

Bought this Nov. 2014. Is very quiet as we hoped. Water saving features you can't change causes normal cycle to run 3 hours & food tastes remain on dishes and utensils. If utensils are in the door rack they do not get dry. We use the required drying rinse agent products. Walls of machine also stay wet with heat dry option on.The lower rack tines arrangement make it very hard to get plates to stand up correctly.Big bucks for less efficiency is very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Wash

Super quiet and great wash. Had an extremely full load of dishes and silverware. That came completely sparkling clean with the 1 hour wash.

Much preferred my older dishwashers - one that lasted 25 years and did a terrific job and the Kenmore that did a good job, but only lasted 8 yearsOn this Whirlpool -* cycles are way too long* cleans the dishes, but haven't found the correct setting for the rinse aid - glassware streaked* flatware basket impossible to use as intended - utensils won't fit slots and fills up before dishwasher is full* cannot tell when rinse aid dispenser is full and cannot read full/empty indicator* front panel hard to read

I love the clean look and easy operation. The drop down function of top shelf is great for tall glasses and plastics. Best purchase for dollar value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this machine 3 weeks ago. I love that it is the color bisque on te outside, yet stainless interior. It also has the silverware basket on the door to save room for extra dishes or you can put it inside. Very quiet. Have to stop and listen to see if it running.

Doesn't clean dishes.

I bought this Dishwasher because the repair person who said last rights over my old one convinced me that I was paying too much for unused features. After extensive research this seemed like it was going to be quite the workhorse. Well bottom line is it doesn't clean the dishes. I put everything in the old washer without rinsing or fussing and it all came out clean. With this one if I put the least speck of food in I will end up scraping it off of something. The silverware tray is a pain, thank goodness I kept my old one. Nice looking machine but just doesn't work well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
