Great Little Dishwasher

I give this dishwasher five stars because it does the job and cleans my dishes so we do not have too! The door is a little interesting; however, if you close it just right, no problems.

Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my new dishwasher a few weeks ago and so far I love it. My favorite feature is the utensil rack, which can be hung from the door and allows so much more room inside the washer. It is nice and quiet too. Future buyers beware as this is the older model. The Whirlpool replacement model, which carries the same model ordering number in the store, is not as well made. The front panel is flimsy and the soap dispenser is poorly made. If you can get one like mine, go ahead and buy it and you will love it.

Only washed a couple of loads but it is quiet and seems to clean ok. Haven't tried all the features and cycles yet.

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stainless interior helps reduce/eliminate mineral scaling from our hard water. We especially like the utensil holder being in the door, rather than taking up space in the lower basket.

After my 10 year old Maytag dishwasher stopped cleaning the dishes, I finally said it was time for a new dishwasher. I researched many models and decided on this Whirlpool brand. Number one issue was that it had to be the Bisque color. This color NEEDS to be a comeback!!!!!!! The feature I liked was the in the door silverware basket. There is so much more room for dishes!!! It cleans the dishes and silverware like they were hand washed. I like the one hour wash feature, and how quiet it is. Have had this machine for one week and so far I like it very much.

Things that can use improvement

We've had this machine for about a month and there are a few design features that could use improvement.1. Silverware tray: The retaining clips on the outside of the lower rack do not retain the tray firmly enough to use the tray handle to pull out the lower rack. When you place the silverware tray inside the lower rack there is nothing to hold it securely. The tray falls over into the interior of the lower rack until it is loaded with dishes. Also you cannot pull on the silverware tray handle in this position to pull out the lower tray.Soap dispenser: The shape of the interior of the soap dispenser does not lend itself to expelling the recommended soap packets. They don't fall out into the main compartment. If the interior of the dispenser was steeper they packet would fall into the main compartment. We have brought new packets and they still have a tendency to hang up and result in a half disolved soap packet stuck in the soap dispenser.Silverware Tray: Make more larger holes. Many of the silverware handles will not fit in the smaller holes. None of the knife handles will fit with the handle down and blades up.Cleaning: It cleans adequately. The pot scrubber feature does not work as well as claimed but better than most.
