An All-around Great Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my Whirlpool Dishwasher about five weeks ago and am glad I did. My previous dishwasher had given me many years of service but was no longer working. I shopped for a similar style and color DW and one with similar features. Whirlpool was the only mfg that I found with all the "must haves" so It became mine. Since it was delivered and installed I have become more pleased than I could have imagined! It is remarkably quiet during operation. The water jets and the spray arm work extremely well, cleaning even the toughest dirty dish and kettle. The adjustable top rack and movable silverware tray are an added convenience. The amount of water used per load is minimal - especially when compared with my old DW - and thus saves $ as well as the environment. Did I mention it was Very Quiet?(!) I made the right choice when I purchased this one, and couldn't be happier! Thanks, Whirlpool for a quality product.

Best Mother's Day present ever!

I didn't realize dishwashers could be so quiet! I love fact that silverware can be housed in the door instead of taking up room on the racks. The ability to put down dividers on the upper rack, lower rack and in the silverware tray is wonderful, making the space more versatile. The water saver setting is long, but it gets the dishes really clean. I no longer have to scrub dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.

Dishwasher 2014 Christmas

My husband and I were so thrilled to receive the Whirlpool Gold dishwasher as a surprise Christmas present from our family! It is all stainless steel and beautiful to look at. It cleans very well and have not had to re-wash anything yet. We use it at least once a day, sometimes more, and it is so quiet that we never even notice when it's running. We use the drying cycle always, and we love the 1 hour wash for everyday use.

Great options, and cleans well. The dishes don't dry even though I use a recommended rinse aid. Everything else is great.

there are a few things that need to be changed on this model. I like the overall working of it and it is quiet but the rinse agent door opens every time the door to the machine opens. It gets caught on the upper rack when the main door opens. kind of annoying to close it each time, not sure if I'm losing my rinse aid each time also. the other thing and maybe I need to read more about it but the Target Clean option at the back that says it will clean a pyrex pan isn't true I put one in dirty and it came out caked on and dirty. the silverware basket is not my favorite. I know it is supposed to be space saving but it is hard to get a lot of things in and anything bigger in size won't go in. but overall the machine works well.
