Our previous dishwasher was a Whirlpool that was 15 years old. I was attracted to the Whirlpool brand for a simple reason. I liked the silverware compartment in the door because it was space saving. Little did I know that the rest of the diswasher was impressive too. There is a rinse area over the silverware and the racks are adjustable for more space saving. There is a pot scrubing area that helps with those pans that need a little more "elbow grease". The machine is very quiet and I have not had to rewash one sinlge item so far. Everything coes out very clean.

Whirlpool Makes the Best Appliances

I can't get over how neat this dishwasher is. It runs so quiet and i trip out on all the different settings inside to put different size dishes and the silverware holder is great it's out of the way for more room. and to top that off it's all stainless steel inside that the dish holders won't rust and brake off. My wife and me have fallen in love with this dishwasher, and the looks of it and its easy to operate and with all the great options for clean washing. The dishes and silverware come out really clean. I am glade i got a chance to do a review about Whirlpool appliances because i need to tell you i purchased my first whirlpool upright freezer back in 1974 and it finally gave out 5 yrs ago without NO repairs. And also i purchased a whirlpool washer and dryer back in 1998 and it went out last year without NO repairs. I have a whirlpool refrigerator as we speak and i have had it since 2008 and still running great. I tell you honestly you can't beat a whirlpool all my big appliances are whirlpool and what a great savings.ThanksBubba

It works well - but you really have to use the jet dry and the detergent packs or the results are not good at allKeeping the utensil basket in the door adds a lot of room - but it can be a pain loading

I have had this dishwasher for a little over a month. So far it is working well. I am frustrated with the long cycle times (3:20 for a regular wash with heated dry) but I guess that is the norm for dishwashers now. The dishwasher cleans well and the dishes come out dry and spot-free at the end of the cycle. The "Target clean" function adds significant time to the cycle (over four hours for the whole cycle) and has not really cleaned a messy 9x13 pan completely. Simpler to wash that pan by hand and skip the target clean function. The moveable silverware basket helps to free up more space on the lower rack. This dishwasher is extremely quiet, we can start it while we are still in the room and not notice it running exempt for some water sounds. Definitely the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned.

Very quiet and reliable

It's so quiet we can't hear it in the next room, and it does a wonderful job cleaning our dishes. The features are very easy to learn and use and we love the stainless steel interior. This one is worth a look.
