Not what I was hoping for...

When the dishwasher was initially taken out the box and the door was opened there was moisture inside the dishwasher... not just damp, but water beads on the door and the sides. Now with it being installed and being used, we still have the same issues. For as long as it takes to wash the dishes, there have been occasions when they do not even come out clean... very discouraging.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i picked whirlpool because i trust this brand. i am very happy with the quietness and features of this unit. the dishes come out very clean. i look forward to having this for years to come.. all of my appliances are whirlpool (washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher and stove. thankyou for building such quality products

I've had this for 6 weeks now and love it! I bought this one to replace another New Kenmore that didn't work. It was between this one or a different brand. I made the right choice.

Nice dishwasher

The dishwasher does a good job and that is most important. It takes a little long to do the job but that is a minor complaint. There is one suggestion for design improvement. The controls are on the front of the panel. It is more comvenient if the controls are on the top of the door like my old one was, especially if the light in the room is low. Other than that, a fine dishwasher

Quiet and efficient. Wish the silverware drawer had larger slots as my knives only fit the largest. In door silverware drawer if put in the door doesn't allow enough space for the dish detergent door to open with some silverware.

Worst dishwasher that I have ever owned.

I have owned dishwashers for about 40 years, Most of them Whirlpools, and this is the worst by far. I have several dishes that are not clean out of almost every load. They now have to be rinsed or they do not come clean. I always scrape them, but do not rinse. I load properly and use the recommended detergent. I have tried all the settings and it does not matter..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
