So quiet you don't know it is on!

This dishwasher is a winner. The stainless steel interior is always fresh and bright. The dishes and pans come out flawlessly clean. The best part, when the dishwasher is on.......you can barely hear it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are so happy we bought this a month ago because No. 1 - it is quiet! No. 2 - it is helping us conserve water during this drought! No. 3 - not only is the silverware basket removable, but it also has "flaps" on the top to prevent small items, like corn cob holders, from leaving the basket.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The good and the bad

Overall pretty happy with the performance and quiet of this dishwasher. Two things that are driving me bonkers though... the silverware in the door doesn't seem to clean as well as it should. I might have to move it into the main cage which defeats the purpose. The other, more annoying, thing is that when it runs the wash cycle, it "thumps" every couple of seconds. Just a soft "thump, thump, thump" I'm unable to figure out why it is doing this and have concluded that it is just built that way.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good washer but not as effective as advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this several months ago with the promise of much more efficient cleaning and being able to provide targeted high pressure cleaning. After a few months it's clear you still need to pre-rinse your dishes to get them truly clean. The unit is very quiet and fits a lot of dishes. It also takes significantly longer than our old unit... Although using less water.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's so quite!

I've had my new Whirlpool for about six weeks. It replaced an eighteen year old model. Things have greatly changed in 18 years. It holds more dishes, they come out cleaner, and it is very quiet!! Love it!

This machine cleans great! My only complaint is that when utensils are in the caddy on the door and you pull out the bottom rack, it catches on forks. It is ok, but annoying.

This is an amazing dishwasher. It is quite running and has many cycles to keep your dishes clean. We have had it for 2 weeks and it is the best investment we have made in years. I would never buy anything but a Whirlpool dishwasher and this series is great
