Easy cycle panel, so quiet!

I purchase my Whilpool dishwasher January 26th, 2015 after having problems with previous one, which was only a year old. I decided to purchase an American made and so far I am very pleased.

I like whirlpool

I like whirlpool products.. I think this is a good dishwasher, except the dishes were very wet after the washing, we tried all the cycles. We bought some Jet Dry Turbo and that did the job.. Everything is dry when the cycles are finished, so we are happy with it

Clean Design, easy to install

I installed the dishwasher myself approximately 4 weeks ago. Very clean design and very quiet. There were other brands which had more features, but for heavens sakes its a dishwasher to clean dishes, not to get you a date.

I like the look of the stainless. Being 65 its hard to read the small buttons. Note I replaced my Whirlpool dishwasher with another Whirlpool dishwasher as these appliances came with the house. Not 100% happy as the my first Whirlpool dishwasher only lasted 7 1/2 Years.

Cleans the dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this about a month. It does the job but the time for cycles is much longer than was advertised/and in the accompanying information....I am expecting that to reflect in utility bills. The door is very heavy - difficult for older people(as we are) and the soap dispenser easily catches on the racks if you are not exceptionally careful. Not the best for elderly.

My new dishwasher

I chose this dishwasher for two reasons 1. The Stainless steal interior, 2. the level of noise 49db. And so far I am pleased with both of those choices. Sitting 10ft. away I con not hear the washer running unless I turn off the TV and then it can barely be heard, you have to be standing almost next to it to hear it. The only almost negative thing I have found with it the debris trap is a little difficult to remove but if you clean your dishes of debris before you put them in it is not a problem.

A Disappointment with Some Good Features

Positives: very quiet; top rack does glasses, mugs & glass storage dishes well. Rinse product not needed, even in our hard water.Negatives: dreadful silverware cleaning; silverware holder in the way & very awkward; rinse holder pops open any time;soap holder hard to close; equipment to raise & lower top rack gets in way of glasses, etc; dish rack prongs are out of line, thus it's hard to make some plates stay in place; two hours running time, without using heat drying. Addition that sits over a row of top rack holds & drops water all over. Etc.
