im not happy with the vague answers I'm getting from whirlpool in regards to my water pump on this dishwasher, Im not amused that it would only last 2 years and when asked if it was possibly under warranty the vagueness started by saying "a technician will determine if your dishwasher is under warranty" to make a long story short, Im not happy that a water pump would only last 2 years and that I do not want to have a service guy come out so I can be charged a service fee and parts for something I can replace..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher about a month ago, this is my 2nd Whirlpool dishwasher.But this is my first dishwasher that has had a stainless steel interior. I never thought that made a difference but it seems to.The dishes seem to get cleaner because the water seems to stay hotter longer. I know that may not be so because the temperature is max at 120 degrees.But after other brands of dishwashers over the years I have to say this one so far is the best, even though some say there is a leaking problem with it. I stay on top of my appliances, so if I find any problem I get them handled quickly before things get to be a big issue. But the 1 hour wash is wonderful and energy efficient. Thank you Whirlpool!

Expected the dishwasher to last longer

This dishwasher only lasted 4 years before having major issues - my last Whirlpool dishwasher lasted twice as long; I expected better. I agree with other reviewers that the racks are too small and we replaced the bottom rack with the one from our last dishwasher.
It washes most dishes without issue and we run it on the light cycle because the normal cycle is very long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my new stainless steel dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome dishwasher,the silverware and glasses come out the we polished and shined them ,the rest of the dishes are gleaming and it does take off the stuck on grime also, this is so quiet cannot even hear it running through the cycles.
