Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this unit, we had a 2005 Whirlpool and this unit is close to 20db more quiet. We can barely hear it and can actually hold a conversation while we talk. It cleans very well and dries as expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. I wanted to get a pricier dishwasher but it wasn’t in the cards for us. But this one has proven to be great - very quiet! Our last dishwasher didn’t fit our tall glasses or larger dishes very well, but this one takes them easily. We put it on for the Sensor cycle at night and it does a great job with getting the dishes clean (though I am a pre-rinser type). Very happy!
I would recommend this to a friend!

OK dishwasher...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this dishwasher for 6 weeks now and run it about 5 times a week. It does NOT do a good job drying, unless perhaps if you use a rinse aid which the manufacturer recommends. I don't use a rinse-aid. I didn't need one with my old dishwasher and I don't like the idea of more chemicals to dry the dishes. I've tried the light wash which did next to nothing, the normal wash which left a blob of liquid dishwasher detergent on the tub floor just below the dispenser, the 1 hour wash which did fine and the sensor wash which is also fine. I only run it on sensor now which is about 3.5 hrs with drying and 2.5 hours without drying. This is a really long time to wash dishes and I pre-rinse my dishes. I would expect longer wash times if I didn't pre-rinse. I don't even bother with the drying cycle anymore since I don't notice much difference with drying or without (I don't use a rinse-aid). I just open the door when it's done and let it air dry overnight.
The dishwasher isn't too noisy with the actual washing, much quieter than my old one. You definitely hear it but it's not overwhelming. Occasionally there are surprisingly loud clicks as the dishwasher changes cycles or the dispenser pops open. The upper rack is pretty flimsy, but I do like the large cutlery holder. It's a nice looking dishwasher but just average in my opinion. Not worth it at regular price but ok at half-price which is what I got it at.
