Excellent buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great purchase. Excellent quality for the price. It runs very quietly, plenty room for all the weird shaped dishes and does a good job holding the little bits in place as well. Only issue we would like to see resolved is the top corners on the inside of the door are sharp. Scratched me a couple of times and my kids too. They need to be rounded out. But that has nothing to do with the function, which we have had no problems with. I would recommend this purchase to others.

OK but not outstanding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife bought this on the recommendation of the salesman at the local appliance store. It looks very nice, with the stainless steel interior and white front, and the touch controls on the front panel have good tactile feedback.However, the two points that we are disappointed in are the sound and the cleanliness of the dishes.Sound. I cannot say for sure that the way to get a quiet dishwasher is to use a smaller pump or more insulation, but neither are effective means to an end. It is not any quieter than our old one but that is not a huge deal to us, but it was used effectively as a selling point.Next, is the cleanliness of the dishes. We are using the same detergent as on our previous model and there is noticeable traces of food left on the dishes. This might go back to the previous statement about achieving a lower noise level by using a smaller pump.A small issue is the detergent dispenser relies on a relatively small locking mechanism. Unless I Carefully pour detergent into the tray, the sliding lid is a pain to keep locked. Any detergent in the lock will easily prevent it from locking.A dishwasher is not something that you can try and then return if you are unsatisfied, so we will keep this and make the best of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
