Otterbox makes the best cases. No one makes a stronger, more durable product than Otterbox. The quality is the best on the market! And locally made in Ft. Collins Colorado! Ordered the berries n cream color, very vibrant and strong color for my daughter. I only use Otterbox for my devices. Always will!

I was never a Defender fan till i tried one my sammy s4 (my sister had one on her Note so I decided to give it a go). I just retired the s4 and have the new g5 (which, btw, is a GREAT phone..Despite what I read of the reviews, the bottom comes out nice, it fits very well, almost seamless, and the battery unsnaps with no issues)...Anyway, I loved the s4 defender case as it took everything I threw at it so I decided to go with it for the G5. Glad I did...it fits well, does not interfere with any sensor functions, the plastic screen glides smooth and it looks great....not to mention the holster really protects the phone as it did on the s4 (both phones in picture so you know I am not an employee, LOL..you can see some vaping gear as well)

I bought this a few weeks ago and once I ok on the case it felt really nice with its rugged design. A week after I accidentally hit my phone off the edge of the couch and it falls on the floor and I noticed my phones screen was cracked.. I was really upset but my phone was still working so I didn't worry about it. But the protector screen actually got scratched as Well. Wich got really annoyingm
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After cracking my screen the second time I decided to upgrade from the basic TPU case I had. Great case, no damage to my phone since I've had it, but the cover for the charging port presses against the cord when plugged in. It's only a little bit of flex, but knowing how flimsily the internal USB connection can be, it makes me a little wary. Luckily, it's simple enough to pop off the bottom part of the case while it's charging.
