I bought this 4th Gen ThinkPad X1 Carbon 3 years ago and it has been working steadily. One day I was pretty busy and left something on the keyboard which caused certain letter to type non-stop. To made it worse, I tumbled down a glass full of water. After I wiped off and shook off the water. I found The notebook stopped functioning. Fortunately, as time went by, it started working again. But I had trouble using g, h, and a few other keys. When I press g or h, a menu shows up instead of letters g or h unless I waited a few seconds before typing them. Even though, I still think this make and model is a solid machine I can trust.
I would recommend this to a friend!
