Good vacuum, but excessively loud

I was back and forth between this and the dyson stick vac... then this went on sale so the decision was made. I like that it's corded because I don't have to worry about the battery dying or needing to be replaced. It has good suction, picks up a LOT. There are quite a few attachments, and it's compact. But after incessant complaints by my precious husband about how loud it was, i looked it up. It's 85.5 db..which is high (average being 75db and anything over 85 is harmful). Technically, if you are using equipment iver 85db, you should wear ear protection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wanted to replace the drag behind canister unit we had. This is perfect! We have vinyl/ cord backing flooring and area rugs. I used the main power bar piece the whole time. I did have to use the highest setting the whole time but almost filled the dirt cup in 10 minutes. Long cord, so I didn't need to switch the plug in the main part of our small bungalow. I will empty the dirt cup each time. No more filters to buy. I loved the light, as dirt that wasn't visible in the daylight was visible while cleaning. I would still use edger tool around the perimeter before or after. Compact to store. Swivel head was great. So glad we bought this.

Its ok but not what I hoped for

Its top heavy and it will not stand upright. I left it thinking it would stay put and when I walked away it slid and smashed onto ground. I can see I better not do this again or I might end up with a broken cannister. Also the instruction talk of a hardwood floor pad which I do not see in the box, I guess I have to purchase this pad, there were no signs on the box that I had to still buy stuff. And finally there are so many different piece but no where to store them. Now that I have used I am unsure they will let me return it.

Shark Rocket Cleaner

I have used this type of cleaner for almost a year. It was a highly recommended for someone who has shoulder problems. At this time I have found it to be very heavy and goes where it wants to go. I have had many cleaners in my lifetime but I honestly say this is the worst for me.
I certainly would not recommend it for anyone with joint problems and I will return to my trusty built-in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
After purchase and owing for a year and half the vacuum completely stopped working and of course shark will do nothing for you to help out at all.
So for now I have a $300 paperweight thanks for nothing shark. I will never purchase or recommend this brand of products to anyone ever again

so heavy and uncomfortable to use

it is super heavy for a small vacuum (and believe me, I am a 6'4" big man), so lloud and not even standing by itself which I don't know what to do with it after vacuuming :/ cause I don't want to make holes on my new apartment for the hanger, I wonder why some people putting those reviews like so easy to work or it is so light etc...
