My old Cuisinart food processor was 43 years old, and finally gave out. It was a wedding present and worked so well. Because of the quality and sustained functioning, I would only replace it with another Cuisinart. I purchased the Elite Collection 12 cp and am very happy with my purchase. I've used it several times and the features are fabulous, esp. the smaller bowl. Its easy to clean (dishwasher, yeah!), performs beautifully, and so easy to use. Kudos to Cuisinart -- quality has been sustained over the decades.

I don't know what to say other than that i had a kitchenaid before and this one is superior. i like that the cord winds up underneath for storage. I also have the blade storage box and that is helpful. i also find it easy to clean. i do not put in dishwasher though.

I like the original, simple cuisinart. This lid is ridiculous and all the parts to make the food opening different sizes is just too much trouble and more work to clean. The cuisinart doesn't have a variety of speeds like my original one so I can't go super slow or super fast- there's one speed and it's about a 7 out to 10. My husband bought this for me when my other one broke- not the one I would have chosen.

This is the fourth cuisinart I have bought. I am 57 and got my first one in the 1970’s. They have gotten better and better over the years. I have never had any problems that the company was unable to resolve. A solid product from a solid company. Love them

This is my second Cuisinart food processor, my first one was over 40 years old and still worked perfectly. Only issue was finding blade replacements. I love my new processor and know it will last many years to come.

The lid placement is so much easier on this processor. The buttons do not take excessive pressure to operate. So nice. I use it almost daily. I hated having to get the old processor out of the cupboard. Instead I would just chop everything by hand. The cleanup is much easier too.
