This is my third food processor from Cuinart. The first I purchased in the late ‘80s and loved it. The was one was a gift received three years ago and I loved it. Unfortunately a small piece of plastic broke on the food chute and eventually required replacement. The replacement food chute only worked once and thus the third purchase of this model. This particular model is wonderful as the blade locks into the bowl, enabling easy pouring of contents from the bowl. It also has a seal on the lid to prevent spillage when pureeing. The adjustable slicing blade and the machine’s power were the final reasons for buying yet another Cuisinart. Great product so far.

Bought it to replace a 7 cup lever model whose bowl was starting to break down but motor was still good.
Pros: large bowl, nested smaller bowl, 2 size shreds, adjustable slicer, very attractive.
Cons: cheese gets caught between lid and shredder, prefer the simple lever over the buttons for operation.

I probably would have bought a lever version of this model if there was one that had all the other features. Easier to use as you are feeding food/liquids into the tube.
All in all, I'm very happy with the product and will hopefully be using it for years to come.

Works well but clogs up easily and is difficult to clean. So far everything just seems to shred or smoosh to the same consistency no matter which blade is used. Perhaps I need more time to learn it but so far I am somewhat disappointed.

This food processor is amazing. It has the power I needed to make heavy cookie dough. The smaller basket is great for making dressing and sauces. I don’t need so many blades to slice with, saves space on the shelf. Just a great package.
