The product arrived quickly and was well packaged. It performs as described. I have not used an immersion blender before, so I am still experimenting with its capabilities but it makes good peach margaritas and milk shakes. I've wanted one for a while and this came highly recommended by America's Test Kitchen, whom I trust.

Well, I just wanted to get this Hand mixer for my Mother. She is the BEST Mom that I could ever had ASKED for. Plus, how could I have gotten a better mother than the One that I have now. And this dose come from my own Hurt brain. So, if any one Ask's if this is any good. Find it for your Self.

Workhorse Blender but Container Disappointing

This Braun hand blender replaced my broken Kitchenaid one I have had for about 20 years. It took a bit of getting used to having only 2 speeds but they are different enough that it meets my needs. Did not have the whisk with previous blender so was anxious to try this one. Works really well and quickly whipped cream. I use regular attachment mostly for salad dressings and crushing a can of tomatoes. This works very well for both. I don't do smoothies. REASON for 4 stars is the container that comes with the blender. It is narrower than the Kitchenaid container and does not have a lid which my Kitchenaid did. I am sure this container is shaped to maximize the work of the blender and per the videos I watched, most were using it for smoothies. BOTTOM LINE - a workhorse blender with higher horsepower and 2 useful speeds. Nothing wrong with the blender but I went back to using my Kitchenaid container with a lid.

Just what I needed! Simple but powerful 2-speeds, easy to detach head & clean in dishwasher, comfortable ergonomic grip, can stand it up easily on a plate or towel on the counter. The tall sturdy plastic cup is just right size for making smoothies without splashing. Great gadget for soups, sauces, smoothies, etc. without hauling & cleaning bigger blender.
