The body is very sleek and well surfaced. Because this is a hard-side case, there are no outside pockets or panels, so access is only through the main zippers. I've only used this once on planes so small it would not fit into the overhead bin, but the relative lightness of the case makes it easy to lift in and out of car trunks. The case opens into two halves with zippered closures. The interior zippers proved a bit sticky even though the panels were not overloaded. This case does not have an expandable feature, but it does have plenty of room for several days of clothing and accessories. It is a spinner, so it can be pushed along side instead of dragged behind. It has quality wheels and fittings, so it appears to stand up to baggage handling machines.

Fantastic carry on luggage

I fly nearly every week for work, and I couldn't be more happy with this purchase. The bag packs easily with the separate internal closure for each side. The handle is very sturdy compared to some other spinners, and it rolls across the floor very smoothly. FIts into plane overhead bins with ease and has proven to be very durable so far. Great bag, definitely worth the money.

Great carry-on with some impractical design choices

I've had another Samsonits for years but the wheels are not easily replaced which put me in the market for a new one. This has the interior style that I prefer and I liked that it was lighter in weight. The size is perfect for overhead bins (even small regional planes). My one complaint is that it doesn't seem as sturdy as my last suitcase. The zippers and zipper seams are flimsy. Also, the out zipper pulls are large and slightly hooked. If I ever have to gate check my bag, I would bet I will end up losing the zipper pulls.
