This bag is a perfect carry on. I love the front pouch that has slots for pens and a mini zip pocket for misc. items. I also like the water bottle pouch on the side of the bag - so convenient! This is a great alternative to a backpack for a carry on bag on planes or weekend road trips. The shoulder pad is well padded, but if you pack this bag so that it is heavy, it may be a pain to carry around the airport. If that's your plan, a backpack or a wheeled carry-on bag may be a better choice.

I have not used it yet but had been lookng for a carry on case to take on a train trip accross country. I feel this will work very well because of it's size which will hold a lot and the extra side zippers and front zipper to hold maps, etc. Also it looks nice and I bought the dark blue.

I bought a less known set a couple of years ago and on my first trip the large suitcase was crushed. I have had a set of your first hard shell suitcases and have only had an issue with the lining coming lose last year. I have decided to update this year with the 28" spinner for my trip any a new carry on with the opening on the top for easier access. The only thing I would suggest is more compartments for personal items.
