Don't last long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had several over the years that quit for a variety of reason. I always got a warranty replacement up until now. We only make 1 pot per day and have cleaned whenever the "clean light" comes on. They just don't last very long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

I bought those j series coffee maker all for the first time about 6 months I had it. Within that time it quit working and mr. Coffee decided that they would give me another one. Which I thank them for that. The second one that was sent to me I've had for about one year. Unfortunately even with regular cleaning it seems to be out of juice. Now I am disappointed because my old mr. Coffee lasted me almost 20 years and got so old that the plastic fell apart and that's why I had to get one. So I don't know where the quality went but they seem to break quickly or a coffee maker. Hope this changes sincerely coffee lover.

Bought this coffee pot about 3 months ago. Worked great and then one morning went to brew a pot and it just beeped immediately like it was done brewing. 3 days later it still isn’t working. Looks like I’m not the only one with this issue.

poor engineering on filling with water

Have only used Mr. Coffee for years and years. Been thru several since we make 3 pots a day. No problem with how long they last. Bought this pot recently and by working with engineers for 43 years I see one that has come up with a better idea how to pour the water in and spill half of it. Guess should have put a funnel in every box when they are box them up. Never had this problem with the older designs. Company i worked for said change was good. My motto was if it aint broke dont fix it. I worked shift work for 43 years and a tanker truck wouldnt hold all the coffee that was made in my office. All made with a Mr Coffee. Very pleased with everything else on it but this problem. Didnt look at place of manufacture but honestly hope it was in the good old US. Trying to make that my new fad now ordering off the innernet. Usually a couple more dollars but worth making me feel im doing my part helping out America.

Best coffee maker ever!

I can't find this one now, so sad. I've been using it for over 10 years. It may be the most perfect design. Zero faults IMO

Thermostat failure

I’ve had this Model for less than a year and enjoy the thing, however it suddenly stopped working and would beep as if brewing complete, as soon as I started it, but nothing had happened. I watched a few YouTube videos on it and determined it was the thermostat on the coil inside. I guess these go out frequently and regularly and people instead of replacing the failed/broken part, they just buy a new coffee pot. So I purchased new thermostat but not the same specs as the one that comes with coffee pot. Can’t find the right one. Now I am out money to replace and a defective product. I plan on calling 1-800-672-6333 tomorrow,

No worries, we are here to help. If your coffee maker is not working, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non working outlet.
To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the coffee brewer and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. Plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the coffee maker's performance.
Your coffee maker has a year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve the issue, we'd like to kindly request that you contact us directly or fill out the contact us form below to help you get to the best resolution. Have a good day!

JUNK !!!!

BUYERS BEWARE !!! This is the biggest piece of JUNK I have ever bought !!! It didn't even last a month 2 weeks if that !! When you have to stand beside a coffee maker and turn it back on every minute to brew a pot of coffee it is JUNK !! It took a half hour to brew a pot of coffee !! I think Mr.Coffee should replace my money I spent on this JUNK !!!!
