Don't accept it even if FREE!!!

Have had coffeemakers that lasted 20 years, with daily use, & have had excellent results with Mr. Coffee maker, so bought this one without checking any reviews -BIG MISTAKE!!! Bought 9/11/2021 & used from 9/12/2021 through 12/12/2021. This morning, 12/13/2021, it beeps that it is done & it hasn't done anything. After several restarts, with no results, we turned the gas stove on under the teakettle & when it boiled, poured hot water through the coffee grounds. Hubby recycled the box it came in, as he insisted in 60 years we had never had to return anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To remedy this issue, please try to reset the coffee maker. Try unplugging the coffee brewer and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. Plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the coffee maker's performance.
This isn't the experience that we want you to have. Take note that our products have a year limited warranty and we would love to get you back brewing as soon as possible. If this doesn't resolve the issue, we kindly request to please contact us directly.

Possible safety design problem

After the brew cycle, we picked up the glass pot (by the handle) and discovered that the top attach point for the handle had separated from the pot, leaving the pot hanging on only by the bottom attach point.

BEEPING AND BEEPINS STEUPS

I have used my coffee maker like 8 times only and now it keep beeping beeping beeping as if it's brewing...I can't believe I wasted my money..been looking on how to it or fix via Google and no! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP PLZ...

Worked for only 7 weeks

Bought this MrCoffee on December 31th. On Feburary 17 it would no longer work. Lights come on but it does not pump water out to make coffee. Tried different electrical outlets and tried to use the clean option nothing worked. Seems to be a LEMON. I have had several MrCoffee's in the past without a problem.

If your coffee maker is not brewing, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non working outlet. For a possible fix, we advise to try resetting your coffeemaker by completely emptying the water reservoir and leaving the coffee maker unplugged for 5 minutes. You may also check the troubleshooting steps below:
- Plug the unit into a different wall outlet to ensure that the unit is receiving enough power. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the coffee maker's performance. - Insert Filter basket correctly - Place decanter correctly - Add the desired amount of coffee - Try cleaning the coffee maker with a vinegar solution if it hasn't been cleaned recently.

I'm extremely satisfied with the performance and quality of the coffee it produces! My only complaint is obtaining the water filtration system refills? Both stores that carry them in the past are Out of Stock everywhere! I hope an online offer will come to our area soon! Please notify me through my email if possible! Thanks

Works fine

I have had mine for about 2 weeks now. No significant issues. The only thing I see is that the disc does not fit right, and whenever I put in just enough water (to the 4-cup line) it brews less. So I must add in more water. Mind you, I have been drinking coffee since 1995, and that is not long enough to be a coffee connoisseur, but I know a little bit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stopped working after 15 months

Bought this coffee maker December of 2020. Haven’t had any problems with it, but suddenly it stopped working. I had family over for Easter breakfast, and when attempting to make a pot of coffee it just beeped at me as though it was done brewing - but nothing was happening. The plate was not hot, the water would not go anywhere. I tried various fixes (changing outlets, letting it sit, cleaning mode) & it just kept beeping at me. Prior to “upgrading to this” I had a Hamilton Beach since COLLEGE, & I stupidly threw it away to get this machine. In the trash this goes, where it belongs!
