Not a quality product

The coffee pot that I have now is my second, both were Mr. Coffee 12 cup black/stainless coffee makers. The first pot lasted nearly 11 months, the second lasted maybe 8 months. Knowing we have hard water, I clean my coffee and tea pots regularly. My mom has a Bunn. Her one coffee maker has lasted lasted her through my two. Will definitely be switching coffee makers!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely no problems like the reviews are showing. It's the second one I have had in the last 16 years. I broke the coffee pot on the first one and rather than replace it I thought it was time for a newer one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had ours for twenty years and still kicking just filters and cleaning we are thinking of getting a new one even though this one still works good, some wear here and there some seals need to be replace but it is time and we might keep it a bit longer maybe in a few more years will get a new one, will see,,

The coffee maker looks good and for thus far (1 week) it works. But this water filter is baffling... Where does it go? An if it floats above the coffee filter why??? Why not have it built in? Why not come with instructions? Nothing where does it go? If it just floats.... Then why the, all the gimics on the side what is the point?
