Can't recommend this one

Purchased the Mr. Coffee® Advanced Brew 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker as well as a permanent filter. We have had it about 6 months and today, after adding water and prepping the coffee in the filter, I turned it on only to have it beep like the brewing had finished but it will not brew. Also, when it was working, we found th at when we used the permanent filter the auto shut off would not work so we had to wait for the full pot to finish brewing. Have had Mr. Coffee brands in the past but would not recommend this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this coffee maker thinking it would last awhile. wrong I have had it 6 months now it comes on and beeps but will not make coffee . I will not purchase another.

Stopped working

I've been purchasing Mr. Coffee Coffee Makers for decades and never had a anything but great reviews and results. Mine finally died after 12 years so it was time for a replacement. I decided on this model as it's red, square and fits under my cabinet. I brew 4 cups a day so its not like it got a great deal of us and someday don't use it at all. Though if not for health reasons I would brew a pot or two a day. Wednesday I brewed my morning coffee and it was fine though not a hot as it had been it was on the rather cool side. Yesterday I decided it needed to be clean and did the usual water to vinegar solutions and click the clean button. Nothing happened! The water just sat in the reservoir and never started the process or started to drip. I dumped the water/vinegar out, poured it back in and hit brew this time and the same thing happened. So here I sit without a coffee brewer that works after only light use and 3 months old. Needless I am not happy.

It works great, coffee is delicious, and the red color matches my wife's kitchen. The ease of operation is the best part of this coffee maker.

Bad....

My father purchased this coffee maker for my husband for Christmas. As of the middle of June it has not brewed one cup of coffee. When you try to turn it on, all it does is beep like it does at the end of a brewing process. I tried to use the cleaning cycle, but it won't even do that. It just beeps at me. I think we will go back to a Bunn. We had one of those for 7 years before it finally gave out.

Very disappointed

This is my second programmable Mr Coffee Maker in about a three year period. Both times the electronics malfunctioned leaving the coffee maker useless. I'm sure the repair would cost more than the machine itself, so to the trash it went. I am so disappointed with the short life of this machine that I will never buy another Mr. Coffee product of any kind.

Looks good but isn't!!

I am on my 5th coffee maker!! This exact one every time. It lasts about 4 months and then just dies. I clean it regularly as an avid coffee drinker and to no avail it dies. The lights come on but it doesn't brew nor does the burner get warm. I have returned it for another 3 times and purchased another the other 2 times. I have always used this brand and have been really partial to the look of this one because it totally matches my kitchen. I don't understand how this is so reoccurring and seeing all the complaints here that it hasn't been looked into and resolved. This is my last ditch effort in your product. If this one dies...I'm done. Please pay attention to your consumers and do something about it because this is most certainly not a coincidence.
