This is my third purchase of Mr. Coffee. Every time the same thing happens. About 4- 6 months after I purchased (and I purchased 3) it, the light comes on as though its starting to brew then nothing happens.

Terrible Product

When we first bought this product, we were pretty happy with it, until it quit brewing. So I went out and bought another just like it. It only lasted a couple of months until the display window fogged up, and then it eventually quit brewing also. The lights would come on, but it did not brew. Don't know why, but my husband went and bought another one just like it, but this time it only lasted about 3 weeks before it quit brewing again! Never again! I went and bought a different brand today. We're done with Mr. Coffee!

Terrible Designed Coffe Pot!!!

This coffee pot was a warranty replacement for a discontinued model that stopped working in the same fashion. I don't know what it is about this design but it is unreliable and to see all of the previous reviews I don't understand why the design problems have not been addressed.

My JWX23 Failed again. :(

Hello. How long is my Mr. Coffee supposed to last? My original JWX 23 failed and now so has the one it was replaced with about a year and a half ago. I know they don't last forever but I was wondering how long I might expect them to last. I love that machine and am a loyal Mr. Coffee buyer. Love 'em! Please help. Thanksgiving is in two days!

Works as advertised

Don't like the four beeps at end of brewing. Can't stop it. Most people make coffee early in the morning, when it's likely others in the household are in bed, so who thought it would be a good idea to put an alarming and annoying beeper at the end of the brewing cycle? Worse than a bad idea.
Otherwise, the coffee maker looks good compared to past models, and everything so far works as expected. If you're looking for simply a good cup of coffee, it's a buy at a fair price.

Upset with mine

I bought mine a couple weeks ago. I settled for this model because it was in my budget. I always had a Mr coffee maker until I was bought a different one one time. That one finally broke so o replaced it with this one and I am sorry I did. After it brews the hot plate gets cold and then the coffee is ice cold with in 15 minutes. Wish I could afford to buy another Cuisinart!!!!

Not for Left handed pouring

This coffee maker works great, the frustrating thing is it is not designed for pouring with the left hand because of how the lid opens. In fact, if you are pouring with your left hand there is so little thought about this that there are actually holes in the back that the water leaks out of as you are pouring if you are pouring with your left hand. I have no complaints about it if you are right handed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
