We have used this same model pot for 6-7 years now. We literally put them through HECK. 4-5 pots per day. we keep an extra ! on hand so when 1 BITES the DUST, we just grab another.

Stopped working in less than a year

I have the mr. Coffee Coffeemaker TJX series one. I have had problems with it shutting off. It is under a year old & now it has died. It lost all power to had & doesn't come on all of sudden. I will never use this brand of coffee pots again. I am going to switch over the Keurig's coffee pots as I heard that they are better quality and more reliable.

Doesn't pour properly

Carafe doesn't pour properly. Not sure why but the carafe spills water when filling coffee maker and spills coffee when filling mug. The plastic pour end apparently isn't made properly.

What a waste of money!

This machine lasted about six months or two cleaning cycles. Like most Mr. Coffee machines I have had, the heating unit quit working. I have probably bought five in my lifetime - why I keep doing that is questionable - and I have found them all to be low quality. I have bought several that were higher en, but experienced similar issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quit working at 4 months

I bought this coffee maker on 9/26/16. It has made noises since I have received. I can live with that, although not normal. This morning it tells me it is finished brewing by making the 5 beeps, but will not brew. I believe I should have a replacement for this item, since it has only been 4 months.

No Coffee

I have had this coffeemaker about a year and I woke up this morning to the lights on and no coffee. Shut it off and restarted it nothing, it has been brewing about 1/2 of the cups of water I put in it. I thought the price was reasonable when I purchased it, but not for a coffee maker that only lasted a year. Done with Mr. Coffee after reading all the reviews. I have had coffee makers that cost less last for a lot more years than this one.

I bought this coffeemaker four months ago because our previous Mr. Coffee coffeemaker stopped working. This morning I went to turn on the coffeemaker and it beeped several times, then nothing. I'm giving up on Mr. Coffee and switching to a more reliable brand. So disappointed!
