Perfect to wake up to brewing coffee!

I bought this coffeemaker in 2013 approximately and has been working like a charm with regular cleaning. The programming is perfect when you have weekend or family to visit and wake up to fresh brewed coffee. I love it!

Love the filter

I bought one of these several years ago and it had been my favorite coffee maker. The metallic red was gorgeous! The only problem was that the Clean function didn't operate correctly after about 5 years. By year 7 the coffee maker started to make strange buzzing noises so I replaced it entirely. I could not find this coffee maker at my local stores so I had to purchase a different brand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When it worked it was great, died in 4 months

Loved my coffee maker was great. But 4 months later would not function. Disappointing but Mr Coffee company suck behind it's brand and is sending me a replacement. They reached out quickly and kept in touch. Responded and reacted quickly. Can not wait to get my coffee machine......Bitter sweet moment with a happy ending

This has been my favorite coffee maker....

Wow a lot of bad reviews for this coffee maker, My experience with it has been very positive. We bought this coffee maker after we were sent to different work locations for COVID. It faithful brewed us our morning joe as we waited for the ramblings of our supervisor, on our daily zoom calls. Surely the fine aroma that this piece of machinery created, pushed us through the dark days of covid better than any pep talk we could have received from Dr. Fauci. The daily shots of caffeine kept our spirts high as we waited for a vaccine that did not prevent us from illness. After our return to the office, I could not let the old friend go, she now resides on my own kitchen counter still providing a fine aroma and a grand pick me up. Thanks, Mr. Coffee, you too are essential!

Intentionally hard to fix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this as a gift and it worked for about a year and a half. I had not cleaned it in about 2 months and I assumed the beeping meant that the line was clogged. Seemed like an easy fix and it's a very simple machine, which I liked about it. But the base is held in with really obnoxious 3-point screws and I couldn't get it open to fix without stripping the screws or breaking the base (they do not include the tool needed to open). Will not be buying anymore Mr Coffee products in the future and based on the overwhelmingly negative reviews on this machine, I'm sure they don't care. Would I recommend to a friend? I wouldn't recommend to an enemy.

If your coffee maker is not working, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or because the wall outlet itself is a non-working outlet. To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the coffee brewer. Let the unit rest for 3-5 minutes. Then, plug it into a different wall outlet. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips, and power converters or inverters as it may affect the coffee maker's performance. Also, make sure that all parts and accessories are properly inserted. Otherwise, it might cause the product not to work properly.
Your Mr. Coffee® 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker only has a 1-year limited warranty. We highly suggest that you visit the nearest service center or appliance center in your location to have your unit checked and possibly fixed. We bought a black and chrome 12 cup pot with additional water filtering assembly. Has many control features and even a clean coffee pot reminder. I liked it so much,I looked up Mr. Coffee on Google and found ourpot. I instantly purchased another because this one is truly our favorite. When we have used it up, we will have another one ready to take over it's duties. Also,it really looks GOOD!

Noisy brewer

My husband bought this 2 months ago. It was noisy the first pot during brew and was slow. Now after just the short time we have had this coffee pot it is now refusing to brew. The water will not come up the line and just sits their and steams??? Wasted our money and time on this one.

Inconvenient!!

This is the SECOND COFFEE MAKER THAT I HAVE TO GO BACK AND EXCHANGE. THE PANEL WHERE THE TIME IS DOESN'T LIGHT UP!!!! RIDICULOUS!! How many mone boxes I have to open To get another one that doesnt iluminate!! Very upset. I drink coffee all day long. I guess I should CHANGE BRAND AFTER ALLLLL THIS YRS.!!
