Looks like a hit!

Tried to play the book before we realized there was a download. Plugged it into the computer after the leapfrog told us to and pulled up the leapfrog site. Started device and the site pretty much walked me through it. Downloaded audio in less than 2 minutes. Must have been a qlitch, compatibility issue, or something for the other reviews. Mine went off without a hitch. Also downloaded a math book and the beginner book in less than a minute each. Handed it over to the 3 y/o grand daughter who started spinning vowels and talking to the book in less than 30 seconds. Thinking this is going to be her favorite Christmas present this year. Thanks.
Pros: Educational, Fun for kids

2 Year Old Already Reciting ABCs

My eldest got this book and the Leapstart for his birthday this year and in the few months he's had it he is already memorizing his ABCs. He also knows what a trombone, gong, and bongo is and recites his vowels while playing with other toys. My son doesn't talk much for his age so to hear him copying vowels on his own like that is an amazing thing.
For the other reviewers who had difficultly downloading just follow these steps:
go to leapfrog.com/en-us/support/connect
click download for the Leapstart
install the program and plug in the included cable
turn on the device and follow the prompts as they appear
go to leapfrog.com/en-us/support/connect

If you get an error that says 'fail to launch' then uninstall the program, go back to the connect website, and download the alternate installer. I had this problem and this was how I fixed it.

I purchased this book for my daughter but the audio will not download. It is useless without the audio and I am very disappointed. I usually have a great experience with leapfrog but this book was a waste of money.

Cannot download audio books

Purchased for kids. They are very excited to play with it but we cannot download any audio books through the app. We hook it up as instructed it says it downloads but the device does not work. Garbage!!!!!

No matter what I try, I cannot keep the download page working. It keeps reverting back to the setup step, not allowing me to download the audio for books. Worthless device.

Not a fan of the letter wheel page.

The turning letter wheel page was something I thought was cute to begin with but my 2 yr old ended up ripping it apart and that page is useless now. He is super fast and sneaky but the design almost seems like it was calling to him to rip it. He has never ripped any of the regular pages in any of the 4 books we are using. I would've preferred it had just another regular page there in hindsight. This is really not a huge issue because the rest of the book is great, it's just something I think could be improved.
