Great monitor but...

We upgraded to this monitor after using the Astra for our first LO (the sound stopped working on our Astra after 1-year of use). Initially, I thought the screen was too big, but with now two LO, it is perfect. The sound/volume is great. I like that on the lowest setting, it is almost silent (helps Mommy get a better sleep!). The temperature feature is useless as it has +/- 5 degrees variation -- well that is not useful! I find that it is quite sensitive to all the 2.4g connection (wifi): I often need to remove the battery as the monitor freezes --- annoying!!! Overall, it is a good monitor (when there is no technical issue)! But at least, customer service from Levana is good.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY

We had this monitor for ONE WEEK when the screen completely stopped charging, making the monitor unusable. I attempted to call customer service and after holding for more than 20 minutes (TWICE) was asked to leave a message that was never returned. After two days (with no working monitor to see my children) I finally received an email response asking me to troubleshoot the issue, all things which I had already done had they taken the time to read my email.
After 3 days of making no progress, I asked the customer service team to overnight me a new monitor screen as they had clearly sold me a defective product. I had paid $50 to have the original monitor overnighted so it seemed that a good company would be willing to do so for me. They refused to expedite a new monitor unless I paid the shipping costs. At this point I was told My best option would be to ship the screen back, wait for them to fix it and then they would send it back. The timeline given to me added up to about 2 weeks without a monitor. How am I supposed to go all of this time without a monitor for our two babies? My only other option was to buy another monitor and then have my money refunded when they received my faulty product. Now I am expected to shell out more money for your faulty product?
I would strongly suggest not wasting your time or you’re money with this company. The product is garbage and the customer service is just as bad. I had hoped a company that sells expensive monitors would be willing to make things right (we’re talking about a product that lasted ONE WEEK) but instead I’m getting the runaround and going all of this time without a monitor. If I could give zero stars I would.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like this monitor. It has a nice big screen, which helps when you have 2 cameras attached to it. I have had Levana before and they last long.

Pros: great big split screen and ability to add temperature and noise in the background is very useful

Great monitor

I just upgraded my original Levana model to the Aria 7" touchscreen with 2 cameras. I have been using it for 2 months and am really happy I made the switch. I liked my original Levana but I wasn't able to add an additional camera because it was discontinued. I am really glad I stuck with Levana and got the Aria. The screen is huge and easy to see. I am able to turn the screen off at night but still keep the noise. My original Levana had a light that flashed with noise and this model does not do that - which I love. No more waking up at night because of flashing lights. I don't have any complaints about this model. The touchscreen is extremely easy to use and the camera's work great. I would definitely recommend this monitor. The one thing I do question is the temperature function. I think it tends to read higher than what our room actually is. But other than that, I am very happy with the monitor.
