So far so good

Just started using it and so far it works well. Only annoying thing is it had to be mounted to the wall or somewhere a lot higher than the crib.

Bought for split screen feature

This is my second Levana camera. My first cameras night vision broke after a year of use and Levana would not longer cover it under warranty so I purchased this one as an upgrade. My previous camera had a scan mood feature to watch 2 cameras back and forth automatically. I am a little disappointed the Amara camera does not have scan mode feature because I have 2 cameras I need to view for my 2 children's rooms. I do like the spilt screen feature however I am dissapointed I am only able to hear sound on 1 camera at a time. A feature to automatically switch sound from one camera to the other would of been great. I wouldn't recommend this camera for someone with 2 children but it is still a great product. There is also a delay to load the live picture when switching between cameras and powering on. The screen shows black while the sound is working for about 5-20 seconds until the live picture is available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing monitor

We are so happy with our Levana monitor! We have attached an additional camera and it was very easy. We love the fact that we can attach up to 4 in the future.
The picture is very clear, sound is clear, and toggling between both cameras is seamless. The large screen is amazing. I can see my son breathe on the monitor.
We did have an issue with the charging cable, but Darrielle from customer service was able to assist us and within a few minutes diagnosed our issue and we have a new cable on the way. This did not hinder my 5 star rating as the customer service was so phenomenal.
We have recommended this monitor to family and friends and they have followed suit to purchase Levana products.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor quality

We have had nothing but hassle with this monitor. One of the cameras never had a good signal strength. After just a few months the battery would no longer hold a charge. A few months later the charging port on the monitor unit became loose and the connection would not hold.
Amara offered me a replacement, if I package the old unit up and send it to them at my expense. When I complained about that being very inconvenient, they offered me a return authorization - they sell me a new unit and send it out, then I put my old unit in the box and send it back to them (still at my shipping expense). Well, that was over a month ago and I still haven't been refunded. I've asked about my refund twice and been told "it's coming". The new camera has a much better signal, which is nice for us now, but confirms that the old one was defective from the beginning. Very disappointed with my experience with Levana.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the size of the screen on this monitor but I have two cameras paired to the screen and I do not like that I can't hear sound from both at the same time. I don't understand the point of being able to hook up multiple cameras if you can't hear sounds from both at the same time

Just what we needed

We purchased this monitor after having our second child. The split screen/two camera option is exactly what we wanted and will be the perfect set up for our kids. The picture is clear and sound quality is excellent.
I would recommend this to a friend!
