We bought this monitor after returning a summer infant monitor. There is no comparison, the Amara is excellent!
The HD video is so clear, the touch screen is big so you have a clear view of baby! The battery life lasts so long ! So far we love this monitor !!

Purchase this monitor instead of summer infant that broke after 1 year of use and I can definitely see difference from the beginning. Arrived with in 3 days of transaction processed on the net. Was super easy set up with easy few step instructions. I love that monitor is huge and you can see whole crib and every corner of it as well as camera light light is super soft compare to other brands that I used and does not disturb baby sleep. Overall it is great quality product I would definitely recommend to my friends and relatives with baby.

The Levana was a baby shower gift and such a thoughtful gift at that. It has uninterrupted range throughout the entire house with a vivid screen and picture. Setup was extremely easy. Great product

I bought the Amara system and also an extra camera. One camera for each child's bedroom.
I love the side by side feature!
The camera that came with the system was very clear and a nice picture BUT the extra camera I purchased was very blurry. I contacted customer service through live chat on the website and they took me through several steps to troubleshoot the problem. When nothing helped they replaced the camera for me! The return process was easy and quick. I only had to pay for the return shipping to send the faulty camera back to them. I had the new camera within 1 week delivered to my door! I was very impressed!
I also like that you can put the camera on "sleep" mode. When it's on the bedside table the monitor goes black on sleep mode and doesn't turn on until there is noise from the babys room and then the screen and sound turn on. This is a wonderful feature for mom and dad getting some sleep! This also keeps the battery lasting for a very long time!
I'm very impressed with the range of this monitor. We can be up at the front of right back at the back of our property and still have reception.
Really I couldn't be happier with our decision to purchase this and I recommend this to friends!

I really liked the features of this monitor before I decided to purchase it, so I decided to give it a try. I am really glad that I did. I am due with my second child in a few weeks, and can't wait to use all the features for both kids. I've been able to get all the way through the night with it unplugged with the screen on the sleep setting when I was not even able to make it through a 2 hour nap with my previous monitor. Very pleased!
Pros:
- Split screen option allows me to see multiple cameras at once
- Huge viewing screen
- Multiple cameras (up to 4!)
- Pan-tilt-zoom camera (expandable, purchased separately)
- USB micro cable to charge (no hunting for special chargers)
- Super long battery life
- Front-facing speaker
- No lights on the unit for overnight use (I had used electric tape to cover the on indicator lights on my previous monitor from shining all night long).

Great monitor for multiple children!

Bought the monitor 3 months ago and we're very pleased. Works great for keeping an eye on 2 children at once. We really like the ability to talk directly to our oldest without having to go to his room. Signal strength occasionally stutters, but is usually quite reliable. One downside is you can only listen to 1 camera at a time (the monitor doesn't automatically switch/cycle between cameras). Good picture quality, and would definitely recommend.

The PTZ cameras are very quiet when using the zoom function and the monitor is a great size.

Easy to use & good quality camera

We bought the monitor as first time parents with absolutely zero experience with baby monitors. We love the large screen and how easy it is to see baby when he is asleep. Setting it up was very easy, very user friendly product. We also love how we can set the desired room temperature and the monitor shows the temperature - helpful in our home where there is tons of natural sunlight and natural heat in the summer months to come. We feel happy that this monitor can grow with us when we have baby #2 by adding another camera. Nothing bad to say about this monitor so far!
