Great Features!!

I bought this as I am getting ready to have baby number 5 and my current youngest is 19 months old so I needed a monitor that I could monitor two rooms at a time. I love the touch screen and all the many features it has. Battery life seems good I tend to always have it plugged in though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We've had the Levana for a short time now and we have fallen in love with it. My sister first showed us hers and how easy it is to pack up and take with her wherever she wants to go. It is easy and quick to set up and you don't have to be a master in applied quantum science to figure out how to use the darn thing (even if you accidentally threw out the instructions and managed to burn them before you realized what you'd done). There are tonnes of great options on it and the option of adding additional cameras in other rooms is a big bonus as we do plan on expanding our little family and will need more monitoring soon enough.

I think this is one of the best monitors out there today. It looks great. It's thin. Long battery life. Nice, intuitive touchscreen. Nice lullabies. PTZ camera. Great functionality. Maybe my only con so far, it would be nice to have the camera point a little further down, or provide a wedge for the base, so that it can sit on a shelf.

We were excited to see the new line of levana video monitors released. We liked the dual screen feature, as well as the quick charging and temperature control along with the pan/tilt/zoom and night time viewing features. So far the monitor has worked well.

Good monitor, a few disappointments

This is the second Levana monitor I've had in three years. The original one (ERA Elite) still works and we use this for travel/grandparent stays. It's part of the reason we decided to stay with the brand. We're expecting our second child and wanted a split screen option and also wanted to permanently mount the cameras on the walls. That's where my first complaint comes in. If you wall mount the PTZ camera, you are very limited in the left/right views due to the fact that the camera is in a permanent "up" position. The PTZ features are really only designed to work best if the camera base is mounted on surface parallel to the floor, not the wall. That being said, it still works ok just not as well as hoped. We're unable to pan across the entire room. The other disappointment comes from the overall resolution of the picture. I was thrilled to have a larger screen but the resolution is far from real HD. It's better than the ERA Elite but it should be considering I paid more than double for it & it's much newer tech.... & that's before even buying the second camera. We don't really use all the other features (feed timer, nap timer, etc.) but may when the baby arrives.
Other than this, the range is good (about the same as the ERA) and the battery life of the screen/control unit is GREAT. The sound quality is good and the intercom works great as well. Overall, we're happy with it just wish the PTZ worked better mounted on the wall and the resolution was better.

Wonderful Video Monitor

Great picture and sound. The monitor is a perfect size to setup from a distance(In front of TV or kitchen counter) and still be able to see it just fine. We don't really use the lullaby or white noise because or little guy has never really taken to anything like that. But I would say that they sound pretty good if you needed to, even if you have to the odd time if you have company over to drown out the chatter of the guests. Monitors Antenna works quite for the farthest I will ever have to use it(250 feet to the backyard when I had a fire). As for the touchscreen and push button controls it cant get any easier. The Range of motion on the camera is more then enough to point it wherever I will need it. The Only real downfall I found with it, is that the first time I set it up in the baby's room was when we put him to bed. Went down stairs; turned the monitor on and all I could see was black(could see a slight blur where he was laying) Thought the night vision was broken or I couldn't find the setting to turn it on. What the problem ended up being is because the sun is still up when we put him down and the night vision photocell wasn't turning it on. I thought the room was quite dark enough, but I guess not. Since the nighttime is the main time we use it, I had to stick a piece of electrical tape over the photocell and then it worked like a charm. Also stuck a piece over the 1/4" power on green light(to make it truly "invisible" at night. Last thing I need is to give him something to stare at and distract him when trying to sleep train.
All and all if you are looking for a nice size video baby monitor with some extra features I would easily recommend this.
Note: I personally don't have a use for the food and nap timer because its not always the exact same time yet(always differs 30 minutes or so from the times we have set out for him and just judge it from there. But it might be great for some. I didn't even look into how it works.
Also I purchased this after I had A Motorola Connect and the camera stopped being recognized by the monitor & app for iphone. Called the warranty service department and wasn't at all happy with their customer service or the return policy. In Canada you have to pay for the shipping when sending it back to them, but if I lived it the States I wouldn't have to. My thought was if Motorola cant afford to email me a shipping label to return there defective product, then they really don't want me as a customer.

We bought this about a month ago & it fits exactly what we need. It has a big screen and battery life is about 4 hours. I wanted to order another camera as well, but it was back ordered. It works great and the touch screen functions make it easy.

I am really happy with this monitor. We switched from a Motorola that died on us, and I'm glad we did! This one is so much nicer, with better features. I love the touch screen and the range is better, which was important to me because we are outside a lot!
