Good monitor with a few quirks

I've been using this monitor for a week and I'm quite happy with it. My previous monitor was horrible, so this one is refreshingly good. The picture quality is great both daytime and nighttime and I can even see my child breathe! The touchscreen is very nice as well. There are a few "quirks" but they wouldn't stop me from getting this monitor again. First, there is a certain low lighting where the monitor goes completely black and has no picture. If the room gets just a little brighter or darker then the picture comes back, but it has a hard time switching from night vision to the regular camera when the room is just a little light. Second, we purchased this monitor because of the temperature monitoring ability, however the temperature is always off by anywhere from 3 to 14 degrees! We have tested it with a separate temperature probe and it is never correct. Not a deal breaker, but it would e been nice to be able to use this feature the way it's intended. Lastly, the sound isn't that great, it cuts in and out. I would still recommend this monitor though.

Great Monitor

I got this monitor for a baby shower gift for my second child. I love that I only need one monitor and I can put one camera in each of there rooms. The picture is not as high definition as I would have thought but I do like how big the screen is and that it can be a split screen when the new baby comes.

Powerful Night Vision

When shopping for video baby monitors, I was planning to purchase supplemental IR illuminators, expecting weak IR illuminators built into the camera. I was wrong. They are powerful enough that the camera actually needs to be set back from the crib a bit. Pan and zoom functions are very impressive. I would highly reccomend this product, despite the high price tag.

So far I have enjoyed my monitor! I love that I can have 2 cameras on my girls at the same time! So far so good! I think the temp setting is off but I heard that from others too!

I bought the Willow model after owning a Stella model which had a problem with the power connection port. The Willow model connection seems to be much better and the display is much better than the Stella model. I wish other Levana cameras were compatible with the monitor.

I have long hesitated to choose the perfect monitor and I do not regret my choice. My baby sendort with the lullabies and I can sleep the head tranquil with the panoramic view. I recommend this to everyone.

I've had this monitor for a month now. So far I like it. But I don't love it! I owned a summer monitor before and it broke so I had to return it. I don't think the picture is as clear on the levana as it was on my summer. The night time view seems to not kick in until it's dark enough in my daughters room. And I thought the image would be much clearer. I do however love that the monitor has such a long battery life! Overall it's pretty good

Delay in video

I purchased this monitor as I am having my third child. I have a Summer Infant (that still works five years later) and a cheap Foscam. Wanted a duo camera unit where I could use just one monitor. Unfortunately, the 'lag time' on the video was too delayed for my liking. You could see the child moving, but it was really slowed and made for a blurred video. Didn't have this on my Summer Infant. Returned unit because of this. Otherwise, I think I would have liked the camera. All the features were as promised, but I couldn't get past the lag time and the slow delayed moves.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
