Perfect size for small space. In purchased this grill 7 months ago for my new home. Grates and base are already rusted despite Char-Broil cover. Food sticks horribly to grates and is a hard to clean. Don’t buy this grill! I only use grill 2-3 times/month and grates already need to be replaced. No worth it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my 3rd TRU-Infrared grill from Char-Broil in 15 years! My wife & I grill almost every weekend (all year) and of all of the other grills we have had (charcoal, gas, etc.), we believe the TRU-Infrared grill does a much better job of perfecting a juicy, flavorful result. Our Signature 2-burner grill is perfect for the two of us (and a few guests); it is conservative on fuel and relatively easy to clean and maintain (even in hot, humid Florida). Results are delicious!
I love how easy the grill cleans up and that charred BBQ sauce doesn't drop down into the fire box. I seasoned the Tru Infrared plates three times before using it and clean up is easy with a nylon brush and baking soda. The only incident was that I found it easier to install the side trays without first installing the drop-down trays and I had to use a long narrow flat blade screwdriver.
I bought this grill about 2 years ago. I live alone, but love to entertain friends and family. This grill covers all my needs. It's perfect to cook up a small piece of salmon, a burger, steak, etc., just for one. When I have friends over, it's still perfect for a larger group. I've had up to fifteen people over....put on some flank steaks and chicken breasts....fantastic! People always comment about how deceiving the size is compared to how much it actually cooks. This grill has worked out so well and I've had no problems with it.
I purchased my Tru-Infrared grill about 4 years ago. I have owned several different brands of grills in the past (approximately 50 years of outdoor cooking on charcoal and gas grills). My biggest problem during all those years was the "flame-ups" that tend to accompany regular types of grills. I read the reviews on the Char-Broil Tru-Infrared grill and decided to try one. I have cooked on my grill at least once a week during the 4 + years I have owned it and have never had any type of flame-up problems. The grill does't cook exactly the same as the regular type of grill, but it doesn't take long to figure out how to use it and the food is just as good.
